Three Nights!

New album is here!!!  “…proving that 2007’s cheekily-titled Ripe for the Burning was no fluke, Three Nights is another sweet treat for lovers of recent Sloan, Pleased to Meet Me Replacements, Matthew Sweet, Velvet Crush, Mike Ness, and Cheap Trick…”  (Jack Rabid in The Big Takeover March 2010)  Download the album on iTunes or Amazon.com.  Prefer the physical CD?  Visit our Merch page (link above) to order the CD directly from us via Paypal (and receive a complimentary very cool SF sticker!).  Or use your credit card to order Three Nights from CD Baby.  Lastly, join us this Saturday, 4/17,  in Philadelphia for a special show at the Khyber.

New CD… Days away.

In the meantime here are some reviews – “Three Nights opens with folk-pop, takes three more valid excursions into country-rock shakers (“College Scholarship Blues,” “All You Had,” “Any Ol’ Thing”), and kicks ass on a harmonica-blazing rave-up, “Scream”—reminding oldsters of that forgotten word “repertoire.” Beyond that, proving that 2007’s cheekily-titled Ripe for the Burning was no fluke, Three is another sweet treat for lovers of recent Sloan, Pleased to Meet Me Replacements, Matthew Sweet, Velvet Crush, Mike Ness, and Cheap Trick.”  (Jack Rabid in the Big Takeover 3/2010) .   Here’s a short review  in TN based Babysue Review.

SF Social Networking

So yeah the band is on Facebook – if you get a chance head over and add us as a “fan”.  We’ve also recently uploaded two new songs to the SF My Space site.  Check out “Armadillo Boy” and “Houston, We Have a Drinking Problem” from the new, soon to be released, album: Three Nights.   “Houston…” is one of those astronauts-gone-bad story songs.  “Armadillo Boy” is a little less linear lyrically, but is basically a carnival love story about acceptance, belonging, and self realization.  Enjoy!  – Mick
