Story on me in local NJ paper. Here’s the link – Mick
“In a quiet, secluded residential neighborhood, Mick Chorba is making a lot of noise.
By day, he teaches English at the Northern Burlington County Regional Middle School in Mansfield. By night, he doubles as a successful record label owner and prospering musician.
FDR Label is his business.
Indie rock bands such as the Dipsomaniacs and the Successful Failures are his identity.
In his spare time away from the classroom, the 41-year-old singer-songwriter has found his niche creating and performing catchy tunes that were written and produced at his home studio in Chesterfield.
“I definitely like being involved in the music more than the business side of it,” said Chorba, describing how he balances the label and his band’s performances….” and on it goes.
